Greening Northern Housing

The Greening Northern Housing Project was initiated by Parks Canada with the goal of improving the energy performance of northern housing. The concept adopted the Passive Haus concept to develop an aggressive energy target gear to artic housing and endeavored to create a model house that achieves these targets. BSC completed the mechanical system design using a flexible hydronic combination of domestic water and heating systems, paired with a high heat recovery ventilator with zone-level demand control ventilation.
