A new facility was built in 2023 to house YWCHS’ mine rescue equipment, as well as provide office and administrative space for employees. The garage systems included high efficiency condensing propane-fired unit heaters along with an Energy Recovery Ventilator for exhaust and makeup air. The offices spaces are heated with an air source heat pump system (electric backup) and ventilated by an ERV.
